Scholarship

The Fall Frolic 5K & Fun Run Committee is pleased to announce a $500 Award to be presented to a deserving Beverly High School or Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School senior this year. Through the efforts of Beverly Public School parent and student volunteers, contributions of generous private sponsors and active community participation, the Fall Frolic 5K & Fun Run has become a successful event for both fitness and fun for students and their families. 2024 will be our 14th year holding this race.

Consideration for the 2025 Fall Frolic Award will be given to a Beverly High School or Essex Technical High School senior who is pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree as a full-time student at an accredited educational institution in the Fall of 2024. Selection will be based on participation in running programs and demonstrated community service. The Fall Frolic Award is a one-time senior year award.

Applications for the Fall Frolic Award will be available through the Beverly High School or Essex Technical High School offices and through the scholarship website https://succeed.naviance.com. The Committee will decide on the recipient and will announce at the annual spring Awards Night (as applies).

Each applicant shall submit the following information to the selection committee. Incomplete applications cannot be considered for the award.

  1. Completed award application

  2. Copy of current high school transcript including standardized test score

  3. Typed essay - 500 words or less

  4. Letter of recommendation

  5. Copy of college acceptance letter
